Cricketing trends in twitter was buzzing with tweets from all around the world. There were birthday celebrations, dejection, admiration and many other things which the tweets from the Cricketers expressed.

The day began with funny man Virender Sehwag reaching out personally and wishing Pakistan’s spin king Saqlain Mushtaq on his birthday. The pioneer of ‘Doosra’, the magic delivery, turned 40 years old today. Sehwag, however, was in his sarcastic mood and shared a video of him hitting Saqi for a six to reach his triple century during the famous Multan Test.

David Warner, who himself struck an entertaining 144 earlier, was proud of his skipper Steven Smith who hit a classy century today at the MCG. Smith’s unbeaten century helped Australia reach 465-6 and take a 22-run first innings lead.

Scott Styris was enjoying the atmosphere at Nelson where Bangladesh took on hosts New Zealand in the second ODI of the three-match series. The dramatic match ended in the favour of the hosts as the Bangladeshis suffered a slump during their chase and eventually lost the match. Neil Broom with his maiden century starred in the match and his efforts were appreciated by senior mate Martin Guptill.
