Cricketing trends in Twitter today saw tweets coming in from all parts of the world. England kicked off their five-Test match series against India in a rather comfortable manner, posting 311/4 at stumps on day one. Joe Root and Moeen Ali were the stars of the day with the former hosting 124 while the latter finished unbeaten at 99 runs. The English fans were cheering and the team hotel where the England team are currently staying also were prepared to celebrate Root’s fabulous knock today.

One the other side, the US electoral clash between republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton today ended with the Trump becoming the 45th president of the United States of America. The billionaire businessman clinched a stunning victory and everyone including the cricketing fraternity were surprised.
