Cricketing trends in Twitter today

The cricketing world started off their day with New Zealand’s stunning win over Pakistan today. The New Zealand bowlers snapped 9 wickets in the last session of the final day to script an unexpected win and help the hosts win the series 2-0. On the other side, India also registered a satisfying win and went up 2-0 in the series. The cricketing world was obviously busy and congratulating the teams on their achievement.

Robin Uthappa felt happy after witnessing Parthiv Patel lead the chase with his quick fifty. VVS Laxman, Harbhajan Singh and Gautam Gambhir were also in the same congratulatory mood. While these were happening, Dean Jones was busy promoting his latest book after the end of the Mohali Test.

There was some really awful news too which emerged from the sporting world and left cricketers dejected. A plane carrying 81 people, including a top Brazilian football team, crashed on its approach to the city of Medellin in Colombia. Michael Vaughan, Jason Gillespie and many others expressed were unhappy with this incident.
