Cricketing trends in Twitter today

A lot of activity took place on twitter space. Shikhar Dhawan, the dashing left-hander, today celebrated his 31st birthday. The day began with his birthday celebrations and as expected wishes from his fans and followers began flooding for him. Virender Sehwag also was equally excited and decided to drop into his Delhi junior. But, in his typical style. He received several wishes on Twitter including some by his Team India mates and also fellow cricketers. Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Gautam Gambhir and others made sure they made him feel special today.

On the other side, Mitchell Johnson was enjoying a car ride with his sweet, bubbly daughter. The father – daughter duo snapped the cutest picture of the day and shared it with their followers. Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar took time out of his schedule to meet young cricketers at the Sehwag international school.

South African JP Duminy was enjoying his Audi ride was ready to drive around in it while former skipper Graeme Smith was at the Islamic School to coach young kids ahead of their match against the Proteas. Shahid Afridi was really grateful to his Bangladeshi fans and thanked the BPL for the opportunity to play for the Rangpur Riders. The real winner today was perhaps Virat Kohli and his beard. It stood out among all the tweets.
