The twitter was today buzzing with tweets praising Virat Kohli’s record breaking double century. The India skipper continued his record breaking spree and went on to break the MS Dhoni’s record for the highest individual Test score by an Indian batsman. Jayant Yadav also reaped praises fro his performances as well. The all-rounder formed a massive 251 run stand for the 8th wicket and reached his maiden Test ton. Out of the all the tweets that came applauding Kohli’s batting effort, it was Mahela Jayawardene’s tweet which felt special.
VVS Laxman made up for being absent from Ishant Sharma’s wedding with a congratulatory tweet. The lanky fast bowler married his fiance Pratima Singh in a grand wedding which saw MS Dhoni in attendance. Mohammad Azharuddin was wished the Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India, on his birthday. Pakistani rookie left-arm spinner Mohammad Asghar was in a delighted mood before boarding his flight to Australia for his maiden tour.
