Cricketing trends in Twitter saw tweets coming in from all over the world. It was a busy schedule as far as cricketing action was concerned. Courtesy Moeen Ali’s century England ended Day 1 of the 5th Test in Chennai in a strong position. He was wished by former and his fellow cricketers. Another rising star Peter Handscomb struck his maiden Test century against Pakistan at Adelaide and the cricketing world didn’t forget to wish him.

While Gautam Gambhir congratulated Indian Juniors Hockey team on reaching the finals of the Junior World Cup, Jason Holder wished Carribean legend Joel Garner on his birthday. Morne Morkel wished his Titans teammates ahead of the CSA T20 challenge while Suresh Raina hailed Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Dehradun as a well equipped one.

After a disastrous 2nd day for Pakistan, former Zimbabwe player Mpumelelo Mbwanga felt the workers in Brisbane might get extra rest for a couple of days. While legend Sachin Tendulkar wished boxing ace Vijender Singh ahead of his title defence, his former opening partner Virender Sehwag trolled his wife on her birthday.
