The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The COVID-19 pandemic has kept the world on it’s feet. Even India is under a 21-day lockdown until April 14. During this phase, the cricketers are finding ways to engage themselves in some quality time with their families. Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian Women’s T20I skipper, posted a picture where she can be seen, concentrating hard on cooking. She was recently a part of the national team in the T20 World Cup in Australia, but couldn’t make much of an impact. Murali Vijay, the discarded Indian Test batsman, turned 36 years.
On the auspicious occasion, a number of his teammates wished him. Wriddhiman Saha and Cheteshwar Pujara posted photos to shower praises on the Tamil Nadu cricketer. Jofra Archer, the England fast bowler, celebrated her 25th birthday and Danielle Wyatt wished him on the special day. Like Kaur, Wyatt also was a part of the T20 carnival in Australia last month, playing for England. Bangladesh women’s fast bowler Jahanara Alam turned 27 years old.
On this day, she decided to help out 50 underprivileged families in Dhaka. She carried the groceries and delivered them door to door. Alan Wilkins wished the speedster on the day. Mithali Raj, the India women’s legend, donated for the coronavirus affected and Narendra Modi, the Honourable Prime Minister, praised her. In the meantime, Sourav Ganguly, the BCCI president, decided to visit Kolkata’s Belur Math after 25 years and donate 2000 kgs rice for the needy.
