The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. David Warner, the Australian batsman, has continued to put entertaining videos on Tik-Tok along with wife Candice Warner and their three daughters. Taniya Bhatia, the Indian women’s wicketkeeper, reckons that one should be careful in making choices as that’s what defines a person. For the national team, she hasn’t impressed with the bat, but has been incredible with the keeping gloves in hand in the last couple of years. Veda Krishnamurthy posted a video where she can be seen playing one of her favourite games from her childhood.

Pakistan women’s Kainat Imtiaz wants her fans to be a tad patient as he reckons that it can take a short time for wonderful things to happen. She has been pretty active on social media, especially Instagram, during the lockdown phase. Bangladesh stalwart Tamim Iqbal was over the moon after being appointed as the National Goodwill Ambassador of the World Food Programme. Tamim has recently done a lot of Facebook Live with the likes Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and others. Harleen Deol, the Indian women’s cricketer, posted three stylish pictures of her.

Dinesh Karthik, who last played for India in the 2019 World Cup, turned 35 years old and he was showered with praises from his teammates, including Rohit and Virat. India women’s Rajeshwari Gayakwad also celebrated her birthday and teammate Poonam Yadav wished her. Former Afghanistan speedster Hamid Hassan also got to celebrate his birthday and was thrilled. Mahmudullah Riyad was busy playing Mario’s Snakes.
