The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Kainat Imtiaz, the Pakistan women’s cricketer, reckons that one either needs to hunt or be ready to get hunted. In the quarantine period, she has been posting a lot of pictures and videos on her official Instagram handle. Harbhajan Singh, the veteran Indian off-spinner turned 40 years old and on the auspicious day, the cricketing fraternity showered praises on him. The likes of Ravi Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal, who all have been part of the Indian team, praised Harbhajan for his contributions towards the betterment of Indian cricket.
Yuvraj Singh and Gautam Gambhir, who both have hung their boots from the highest level, didn’t forget to show their appreciation towards Harbhajan either. The Turbanator hasn’t retired yet and is still a part of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Shakib Al Hasan, the veteran Bangladesh cricketer, posted a picture where he can be seen wearing a mask. The 33-year-old is currently serving a year-long ban from the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Indian Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane posted a video where he can be seen, working hard in the gymnasium. Rahane was set to play for the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). But the tournament had to be postponed for an indefinite time period due to the coronavirus pandemic. Yuvraj Singh was deeply saddened after famous Indian choreographer Saroj Khan passed away. Indian opener Mayank Agarwal posted a video of his balancing act.
