Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is scheduled to get underway on April 9 with the match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Prior to the tournament, Dinesh Karthik, the Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) skipper, conducted a question and answer session.

During the conversation, he told that the knock he played against the Delhi Daredevils back in 2013 remains his most prolific knock in the history of the IPL. The Knight Riders are set to play their first game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 11 at the Chepauk. Last season, the Knights couldn’t make the playoffs after a lacklustre show in the first round itself. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Krishnappa Gowtham is also ready to show his class.

Lisa Sthalekar was impressed with Elysse Perry’s effort near the boundary ropes during a match against New Zealand. The third ODI between Pakistan and South Africa took place at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. Imam-ul-Haq was batting on 57 and he threw his wicket away to Keshav Maharaj. He had gotten his eyes in when he got out. The dismissal didn’t go down well with Danny Morrison.
