The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The third match of the Women’s T20 Challenge took place between Supernovas and Trailblazers at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. After electing to bat first, Harmanpreet Kaur’s Supernovas put 146 for the loss of six wickets in their 20 overs.
Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu sparkled as she scored 67 runs off 48 balls. Her knock was laced with five fours and four massive sixes. It was leg-spinner Harleen Del, who accounted for her wicket in the 17th over.
Lisa Sthalekar, the former Australian cricketer, was over the moon after seeing Athapaththu’s stroke-play. Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf turned 27 years old and on the auspicious occasion, he was showered with praise from his teammates. Rauf is currently busy playing in the T20I series against Zimbabwe at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. In the first game, he picked up a couple of wickets.
Rashid Khan was on cloud 9 after Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) made the Qualifier 2 of the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) where they will face the Delhi Capitals (DC). David Warner and Co beat the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by six wickets at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Ian Bishop reckons that the Capitals, who are struggling with a genuine all-rounder, should pick Keemo Paul, who’s yet to play a single game in the ongoing edition.
1. Aakash Chopra impressed with Harleen Deol
Poonam Yadav must be nursing an injury….nothing else could explain her bowling only one over and that one over so late in the game. Really liked the way Harleen Deol played tonight. 👏👏 #WomensT20Challenge

8. Ian Bishop asks Delhi Capitals to include Keemo Paul for Qualifier 2
It won't happen but Delhi Capitals who have been struggling with their 3rd seam bowling option could do worse than to consider giving Keemo Paul a run in Qualifier 2 tomorrow. He wasn't bad last year and adds a little bit of quality fielding and a little batting to.
