Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

Twitter has been flooded with many throwback photos in recent days. Amid the quarantine period, many cricketers are taking it to the micro-blogging website to share old ‘throwback’ photos. Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina– two swashbuckling batsmen of Team India– also took it to Twitter and shared an old picture. In the photo, the two players can be seen exercising with dumbells.

Virat Kohli, who always grab headlines with his photos, uploaded another candid picture for his fans on Twitter. Kohli, who has been spending his quarantine period with wife Anushka, has been quite active on social media. The current Indian skipper has shared many messages on Twitter and Instagram while spreading awareness about the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jimmy Neesham is probably one of the most active players on social media. The Kiwi star is known for his quirky replies on the micro-blogging website and it was evident yet again as he answered a few fan questions. Neesham also ensured that he kept the mood light in the Q&A session as he splurged some hilarious replies.

Amid this quarantine period, cricketers are left with no choice but to spend their idle time on Instagram or Twitter. Rohit Sharma is one of those players who has multiplied his social media activity. He has conducted many Instagram live sessions with cricketers and his recent guest was none other than Australia’s explosive opener– David Warner.
