The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Rahul Chahar, the young Indian leg-spinner, was delighted to be with the national team in their Test series against England. Chahar played a solitary T20I back in the 2019 tour of West Indies but has fallen out of contention somewhat. He has kept performing though for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. He was one of their star performers in the previous edition. As far as India’s series is concerned, the hosts are trailing by 0-1.

They lost the opening Test by 227 runs at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The second Test is set to get underway on Thursday, February 11 at the Chepauk itself. Ian Bell, the former England right-handed batsman, was happy to have a chat with Sanjay Manjrekar. Colin Ingram, the South Africa batsman, seemed excited to take part in the 2021 edition of the Pakistan Super League.
