The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The Brisbane Heat have roped in AB de Villiers for the rest of the 2019-20 Big Bash League (BBL). The veteran has replaced Tom Banton, who has come up the ranks in the last few months or so. The England batsman has impressed to such an extent that he will be turning out for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2020  edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Cricketer turned commentator Michael Vaughan was a bit surprised after the Heat replaced the talented Banton with De Villiers. Rahul Dravid, the legendary Indian cricketer, turned 47 years old. On the auspicious occasion, the Wall of Indian cricket was greeted with praises and appreciation. The likes of Krishnappa Gowtham, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, Shreyas Iyer and a number of personalities showered their wishes on Dravid.

Shivam Dube was over the moon after India defeated Sri Lanka 2-0 in the three-match T20I series. The Men in Blue won the third T20I at the MCA Stadium in Pune by 78 runs to start 2020 on a dominating note. The hosts scored 201 runs after which the Lankans were shot out for 123. Junaid Khan went to Qatar after finishing his stint for the Rangpur Rangers in the BPL. Harbhajan Singh wished music director Mithoon on birthday.
