Ahead of the much-awaited IPL 2020, several experts have already started dishing out their predictions along with picking out their favourite players. The cash-rich league, after many delays due to coronavirus pandemic, is all set to start from September 19th. With less than a week for its commencement, the excitement of the fans is notching up with every passing day.

Former Kiwi international Scott Styris also rolled out his IPL 2020 ‘power rankings’ on Twitter where he named Shreyas Iyer-led Delhi Capitals at the top. According to Styris, the Delhi franchise could beat Mumbai Indians and clinch their maiden IPL trophy this year. For the last two spots in the table, he slotted Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals respectively.

Jonty Rhodes also hogged the limelight after Kings XI Punjab shared the clip of his stunning catch. The South African is considered as one of the best fielders to have ever graced the gentleman’s game and his latest clip was its evidence. 51-year-old Rhodes plucked the catch out of thin air and flaunted his fielding expertise.

Birthday wishes also poured in for Suryakumar Yadav, who celebrated his 30th birthday today on September 14. Yadav was wished by several players including Mumbai Indians camp. He is currently in the UAE and is expected to pave his way into Playing XI of the Mumbai franchise.
