The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Today, Australia won the 1st game of the two-match Test series against New Zealand by a margin of 296 runs. Mitchell Starc was given Man of the Match award for taking nine wickets in the match. Many fans and former cricketers applauded them for performing well in Perth.
On the other hand, the first Test between Sri Lanka and Pakistan ended in a draw. However, Babar Azam and Abid Ali got successful in scoring ton in front of their crowd in the longer format. The duo received a lot of greetings from the cricketing fraternity for their brilliant batting display. After the conclusion of the match Azhar Ali, the Pakistan skipper thanked the fans for showing their support and come in big numbers in the stadium.
Today, Shivam Dube, the young Indian all-rounder made his debut in ODI against West Indies in the series opener. And, Aakash Chopra wants him to perform well in the crucial situations for Team India.
