The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Rajshahi Royals and the Chattogram Challengers locked horns in the Qualifier 2 of the Bangladesh Premier League at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. Chris Gayle lit up the crunch game, by playing some scorching shots. The left-hander from Jamaica churned out 60 runs off 24 balls with the help of six boundaries and five colossal hits into the stands in Mirpur. It was Afif Hossain Dhrubo, who broke through Gayle’s defence in the 10th over of the innings.
The tweaker castled him to give the Royals the important breakthrough. Ajinkya Rahane, the vice-captain of the Indian Test team posted a video where he can be seen exercising. Rahane may also make his ODI comeback in the near future, going by reports. Ben Cutting tries to keep himself afresh before taking the field for a cricket match. The all-rounder is currently representing the Brisbane Heat in the 2019-20 edition of the Big Bash League (BBL).
Hasan Ali, the Pakistan fast bowler, went down the memory lane and posted an adorable picture. In the photo, Fakhar Zaman can be seen taking a selfie along with Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan and Hasan. Afghanistan leg-break bowler Rashid Khan went to watch a tennis match with his mates at the Adelaide Strikers. RP Singh was happy after the International Cricket Council (ICC) adjudged Rohit Sharma as the ODI player of the year.
