After MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina also announced his decision of following the path of international retirement. However, he communicated his retirement decision to the BCCI a day after he made it public. The Indian cricket board lauded Raina for his contribution to Indian cricket.
Raina represented India in 18 Tests, 226 ODIs and 78 T20Is in an international career spanning 13 years. Along with being a good batsman in the limited-overs format, he was also known for his exemplary fielding skills.
Twitter also erupted with tributes for Virat Kohli, a day before the Indian skipper completing his 12 years in international cricket. Kohli’s journey has been nothing short of an inspiration. After breaking into the Indian side as an impulsive youngster, Kohli eventually paved his way to becoming one of the modern-day great. He currently is sitting with over 20,000 international runs and 70 international centuries.
As IPL 2020 is nearing its initiation, franchises have started their preparations for the cash-rich league. Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals shared photos of their players arriving in Mumbai. Mumbai shared the picture of Jasprit Bumrah while Rajasthan indicated Sanju Samson’s arrival with his photo.
Several cricketers also condoled the demise of Pandit Jasraj. The music legend and the doyen of classical vocal music passed away at the age of 90 due to cardiac arrest.

13. Ramiz Raja calls for a change in rules
Rain & bad light rule need to be revisited. Loss of play upto six hours in a test should allow an additional day to be added to get a result. In bad light if a team wants to use a fast bowler it can but with a rider to not bowl a bouncer. Play to continue in light drizzle. Agree?
