There were a few topics around which the cricketing trends revolved on Tuesday. India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin celebrated their birthdays on this day. Thus, many cricketers wished them on social media. While the likes of Yuzvendra Chahal and Mayank Agarwal wished the Prime Minister, Kuldeep Yadav and Ajinkya Rahane posted greeting for the off-spinner.

Ahead of the second T20I against South Africa, Krunal Pandya and KL Rahul shared pictures from the practice session. Head coach Ravi Shastri also put up a few pictures with an inspiring caption. Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan posted a picture from his recent photoshoot in the Test jersey. There were some trends that revolved around movies as well. Krishnamachari Srikkanth shared the Tamil first look poster of an upcoming film based on Narendra Modi. Zaheer Khan wished the best to ‘The Zoya Factor’ film and the entire team that has worked on it.

One of the prominent media houses published a disturbing article about Ben Stokes. The cricketer lashed out at them for such behaviour. He also found support from English skipper Joe Root and South African spinner Tabraiz Shamsi.
