The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around Friendship Day and the confirmation of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The tournament will be played from September 19 to November 10 this year and the franchises have also been told to apply for the visas. Also, the evening matches are set to start at 7.30 PM IST and the decision was welcomed by none other than Aakash Chopra.

He also felt that the timings should be made permanent now in the T20 extravaganza. Meannwhile, on the occasion of Friendship Day, Yusuf Pathan showered love on his brother Irfan Pathan for being the best friend of his life. He posted two pictures as well with his younger brother. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah informed everyone on Twitter that he has been tested positive for Coronavirus on Sunday.

Soon after his tweet, messages for his well-being flooded on social media and the Indian cricketers weren’t behind in it either. The likes of Ravi Shastri, Gautam Gambhir, Shikhar Dhawan and Harbhajan Singh among others wished for his speedy recovery and hoped that he will be discharged soon. India pacer Sreesanth, meanwhile, decided to share his knowledge about his seam bowling and the fans were delighted over the same.

Pakistan cricketer Haris Rauf circulated a message for Pakistan’s biggest fan and said that the team is missing him ahead of their Test series in England.
