Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Today, India defeated New Zealand in the fifth T20I by a margin of seven runs. KL Rahul (45), Rohit Sharma (60) and Shreyas Iyer (33) played important knocks for their team in the final game.

From New Zealand, Tim Siefert and Ross Taylor scored brilliant fifties but they failed to help their side in winning their first game in the five-match series. Jasprit Bumrah bowled a brilliant bowling spell, who registered figures of 3/12.

Bumrah was awarded Man of the Match for his great spell. Rahul was given Man of the Series for batting extremely well against Black Caps. He amassed 224 runs in five games for the Men in Blue. Rahul turned out to be the main reason due to which Men in Blue successfully whitewashed the hosts.

After the conclusion of 5th T20I, Team India was poured with wishes from across the globe. Even the cricketers like Shikhar Dhawan, Irfan Pathan, Mohammad Kaif extended wishes to Virat Kohli and Co. for their massive achievement.

Meanwhile, Kaif looked quite happy over the fact that Ravindra Jadeja and Yuzvendra Chahal bowled a total of 30 overs at small grounds of New Zealand at an economy rate of 7.12.
