The cricketing trends on social media today revolved around the demise of the two of the best personalities in India, Ramakant Achrekar and Kader Khan. Achrekar was the coach of one of the best players in the World Sachin Tendulkar as many cricketers expressed their grief towards his family. Kader Khan was the legend in the Bollywood arena and his comedy acting left many in splits. Irfan Pathan was one of the many people from the cricketing fraternities to express his grief.
The ongoing Big Bash League (BBL) has witnessed a lot of low-scoring matches and the pitch on offer for today’s match between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Thunder. The ball continuously kept low after pitching mid-way through the wicket and the behaviour was same in the WBBL game which preceded. Jimmy Neesham and Mark Waugh gave their views on the same and expressed their concerns.
There was a lot of excitement ahead of the fourth Test between Australia and India. History beckons for the visitors as they aim their first ever Test series win Down Under in the next five days. Australia’s proud home record is at stake as well which will make this Test match memorable as they won’t give up easily and look to level the series.
