The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Former Indian batsman Virender Sehwag celebrated his 41st birthday and he was lauded on the auspicious occasion. Yuvraj Singh, another retired cricketer, uploaded an old picture alongside the Nawab of Najafgarh. Earlier, Sarfaraz Ahmed was sacked as the skipper of the Pakistan team and was also dropped from the national team for the upcoming tour of Australia. Azhar Mahmood, their former bowling coach, felt that the decision to dismiss Sarfaraz could have been handled in a better way.
