The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. India are scheduled to play a full-fledged T20I, ODI and Test series in New Zealand. The opening T20I is scheduled to take place on January 24 at the Eden Park in Auckland. The Men in Blue have already reached Auckland and have started sharing pictures. Shreyas Iyer posted a photo along with Shardul Thakur and captain Virat Kohli. Brad Hogg isn’t a happy man after Ishant Sharma got an ankle injury.
The injury has ruled the fast bowler out of the Tests in New Zealand, scheduled to get underway on February 21 at the Basin Reserve in Wellington. The pacer injured himself in during Delhi’s Ranji Trophy match against Vidarbha. Sharma tweaked his ankle on his follow-through while making an appeal. England batsman Ollie Pope couldn’t control his emotions after scoring his maiden Test ton against South Africa at the St George’s Park in Port Elizabeth.
Temba Bavuma feels that the Proteas can make a comeback in the fourth and final Test at the New Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Pakistan fast bowler Sohail Tanveer posted video where he can be seen preparing himself for the upcoming PSL. The speedster will ply his trade for the Multan Sultans. Harbhajan Singh congratulated Manoj Tiwary after the latter notched a masterful triple century in the Ranji Trophy. Harmanpreet Kaur believes good breakfast can uplift someone.
