The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. On Friday, November 20, Mohammed Siraj, the Indian fast bowler, lost his father, Mohammed Ghouse. The news reached Siraj, who’s currently in Australia with the national team for the upcoming international fixtures. After his father’s surprise, Siraj was disappointed. The speedster also won’t be able to see his father and attend the last rituals due to the strict quarantine protocols in place. The cricketing fraternity thereafter sent their condolences for the pacer.
Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian cricketer and current BCCI president, lauded Siraj for showing a tough character in the tumultuous times. Suryakumar Yadav, the young Indian batsman, celebrated Chhath Puja with the blessings of his mother. Marizanne Kapp seemed charged up for Sydney Sixers’ match against the Melbourne Renegades at the Sydney Showground Stadium in the Women’s Big Bash League.
Umesh Yadav posted a few pictures where he was seen working hard on his fitness levels. Navdeep Saini shared a video where he can be seen, batting. The youngster has the potential to play the big shots as and when required. Zimbabwe cricketer Brendan Taylor is ready to ply his trade for the Kandy Tuskers in the inaugural edition of the Lanka Premier League.
