The entire world has been disrupted by COVID-19 outbreak since the past few months. The pandemic hasn’t spared India too as the nation has emerged as one of the worst-hit coronavirus countries. Normalcy has been disrupted in the country and cases have been increasing with every passing day.

India, on Saturday, crossed 3 million mark, with the death toll touching 55,000. India spinner Harbhajan Singh also expressed his worries after seeing a constant rise in COVID-19 positive across the country. The CSK spinner termed it as ‘shocking’.

Meanwhile, Twitter was flooded with congratulatory wishes for Zak Crawley after the 22-year-old became the third-youngest English players to score a Test double hundred. Crawley’s 267 and Jos Buttler’s 152 put the hosts in a commanding position against Pakistan in the third Test. In the process, the Crawley-Buttler duo also stitched the highest fifth-wicket partnership for England. Considering his short career, Crawley was appreciated by many people for achieving the first notable milestone of his career.

Wishes also poured in for Rohit Sharma as the Indian opener has been conferred with the greatest sports honour of the country, ‘Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award’.

The prolific opener became the fourth cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli to win this prestigious award. Ishant Sharma and Deepti Sharma were also congratulated for bagging Arjuna award. Rohit himself shared a video message thanking everyone for their love and support during his cricketing journey.
