The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Bangladesh women’s cricketer Jahanara Alam posted a picture. The pacer, in November, played for the Velocity, who failed to qualify for the final of the Women’s T20 Challenge at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. David Warner, the Australian batsman shared a video from the movie Don, acting as Shah Rukh Khan.

Pakistan beat New Zealand by four wickets in the third and final T20I at the McLean Park in Napier. Mohammad Rizwan scored 89 runs in the run-chase and helped his team go over the line in the dead-rubber. Kamran Akmal lauded him for the stupendous knock under pressure. Suresh Raina, the former Indian batsman, was happy to meet veteran actor Bobby Deol.
