The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Prior to the third Test between India and England to be played at the Motera, Hardik Pandya posted a picture with his son Agastya enjoying in swimming pool. Sri Lanka cricketer Dhammika Prasad retired recently from the sport and today, thanked Virender Sehwag for posting a message in a video for him. He also Sehwag for his exceptional batting skills.
The fourth Test will also take place in Ahmedabad. India are currently leading the series after winning the second Test at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Meanwhile, a controversy has erupted regarding Sri Lanka Cricket as Chaminda Vaas has stepped down from his position of a bowling coach and also gave the clarification in his tweet.
England Woman cricketer Danielle Wyatt posted a video of her batting in the nets ahead of the much-awaited return to cricket for them with an ODI series. England and New Zealand are set to face each other in the ODI series from February 23 and both teams will hope that they put their best foot forward ahead of the Women’s 50-over World Cup next year.
