Rohit Sharma’s rise to success is nothing less than a fairy tale. The right-hander’s fortunes turned upside down after donning the opener’s role. He went on to become one of the modern-day greats in the limited-overs format. The swashbuckling opener celebrated 13 years of international cricket through his tweet where he expressed gratitude for his journey. Rohit broke into the national side in 2007 in an ODI against Ireland.
Meanwhile, the Pandya brothers– Krunal and Pandya have recently been busy in sharing various stills and videos for their fans. Both have uploaded videos of themselves while keeping themselves fit during the pandemic. Krunal also accepted and completed Hardik’s fitness challenge and shared a clip of the same.
After Haider Ali, Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf tested positive for coronavirus, many members of the cricketing fraternity were left shaken. To plunge more misery on Pakistan cricket, seven more players have also tested positive. PCB confirmed that these seven players did now show any symptoms prior to there tests. The seven players came out to be– Fakhar Zaman, Imran Khan, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Rizwan and Wahab Riaz.
At a time when the whole world is hoping for the sporting scenario to kick off, the news of Pakistan players being tested positive has certainly instilled a fear in the minds of all fans. Pakistan are slated to tour England next month for a Test as well T20I series.
Ramiz Raja and Hasan Ali also expressed their shock and wished players a speedy recovery. Apart from these cricketers, tennis star Novak Djokovic also tested positive and the news started doing rounds in no time.
