Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Today, Team India registered a thumping victory over Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens by a margin of an innings and 46 runs. It also helped the hosts to win the series by 2-0. The Indian pacers Umesh Yadav, Mohammed Shami and Ishant Sharma did a commendable job with the ball in the first-ever Day-Night Test. As soon as Virat Kohli and Co. defeated Tigers, the cricketing fraternity went busy in hailing the performance of the Indian cricketers.

On the other hand, Australia outclassed Pakistan in the first game of the two-match series. The Aussie bowling attack was simply unplayable and dismissed the whole visitors’ batting line-up at a score 335 runs in the second innings. However, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan showed some determination and played a brilliant knock to save their side from facing a defeat. But, their efforts went into vain.

However, former cricketers Shoaib Akhtar and Dean Jones hailed the performance given by Babar Azam. He recorded his 2nd ton in Tests at The Gabba. Meanwhile, today Amit Mishra, the Indian leg spinner turned 37 and was poured with wishes from every nook and corner across the globe.
