The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Mohammad Azharuddin, the former Indian captain, was happy to be in Pune for the second ODI between England and the Men in Blue at the MCA Stadium. The hosts are already 1-0 ahead in the series after their win by 66 runs in the first match at the same venue. After Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy notched a 135-run stand for the opening wicket, India went on to make a comeback.

Pakistan are all set for their tour of South Africa. The Pakistan players posted pictures before embarking on their journey of the African nation. The tour consists of three ODIs and four T20Is. Earlier, Pakistan defeated South Africa in the Tests and T20Is at home. Hasan Ali and Babar Azam, the skipper of the Pakistan team in all three formats, seemed excited about the tour. After winning at home, the visitors would be looking to make an impact overseas.

Wasim Akram remembered the times when Pakistan won the 1992 edition of the World Cup, beating England in the final under the leadership of Imran Khan, the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former Pakistan skipper, posted a picture along with his son. Sarfaraz is the captain of the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
