The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Salman Khan, the popular Bollywood actor, turned 54 years old. The veteran is celebrating the success of Dabangg 3, which released a few days ago. The Indian cricketers also took it as a chance to wish the renowned artist. The likes of Kedar Jadhav, Suresh Raina and Mohammed Shami praised Salman on the auspicious occasion. Jadhav also called Khan his childhood and all-time favourite actor.

Brad Hogg feels that South Africa cricket will miss Vernon Philander, who picked up four wickets for 16 runs against England at the SuperSport Park in Centurion. Zubayr Hamza took a sharp catch to get rid of Sam Curran and Herschelle Gibbs was impressed by the effort. Gibbs is currently the head coach of the Sylhet Thunder in the Bangabandhu BPL. Sylhet are next set to lock horns with the Khulna Tigers in Mirpur in the second of Saturday’s doubleheader.
