The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. The world is currently under the stranglehold of the coronavirus pandemic. In India, Maharashtra has been the worst affected states. And in the situation of crisis, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been lending his helping hand. The veteran has been helping a lot of migrant labourers, stuck in Mumbai due to the lockdown, return home. He has also been distributing food packets and groceries along with his childhood friend Niti Goel. His generous work caught the eyes of Suresh Raina, the discarded Indian cricketers.
The Uttar Pradesh-born lauded Sood for trying his heart out to help the needy and under-privileged. On Wednesday, Ravi Shastri, the head coach of the Indian cricket team, turned 58 years old. On the auspicious occasion, the members of the national team wished him. Even the likes of Rohit Sharma and national skipper Virat Kohli, who both are India’s stalwarts across formats, didn’t miss out on lauding Shastri on the auspicious day. Shane Warne, the legendary Australian spinner, was left in awe after he watched Money Heist on Netflix. He is now waiting for Season 5 to come soon.
Moreover, he also asked his followers about their favourite characters from the show. Eight years ago on May 27, the Kolkata Knight Riders beat the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League final. It was also the maiden glory for the Kings, then led by Gautam Gambhir. The legendary Mahela Jayawardena and Kaushal Silva celebrated their birthday and on the day a number of their teammates wished them.
