Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. On Monday, India celebrated the festival of Holi and a number of cricketers posted adorable pictures where they can be seen, spending time with their family. In the very end, Virender Sehwag became the first Indian batsman to score a triple century in Test cricket. The Nawab of Najafgarh achieved the milestone against Pakistan and three years later on the same day, he went on to notch his second double ton, this time against South Africa.

On Sunday, March 28, India beat England in the third and final T20I by seven runs to win the three-match ODI series 2-1. Sam Curran scored an unbeaten 95, but he couldn’t take his team over the finishing line in the death overs. T Natarajan, the left-arm fast bowler, had the task of defending 14 runs in the last over and he did so with sheer precision.

After the victory, Natarajan shared some pictures from the winning moment and was over the moon. Kamran Akmal, the Pakistan wicketkeeper, posted a video where he can be seen working hard in the gym. Yuzvendra Chahal is all set to play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which gets underway on April 9.
