The cricketing trends today revolved around Pakistan’s 11th consecutive T20I series victory after winning the second game against New Zealand. Shaheen Afridi was the star for them who registered the figures of 3/20 in his four overs. Mohammad Hafeez and most of Pakistan cricketers were in awe of the youngster as he improved a lot in the last few matches. Shahid Afridi was also delighted with the victory and lauded the best T20I team in the world in his special tweet for them.

There was a lot of buzz around the upcoming matches on Sunday. While the day starts with South Africa clashing on the hosts Australia in the first of the three-match ODI series at the Perth Stadium. The former Aussie coach Darren Lehmann wished all the luck to Aaron Finch who has been appointed the full-time captain of the team in the 50-overs format. He also led Australia in the T20Is and will take over the mantle from Tim Paine who will now concentrate only in the Test format.

Meanwhile, a new look Indian side will be facing off the strong Windies in the first of the three-match T20I series at the Eden Gardens on Sunday. Rishabh Pant was excited to convert his good form in the shortest format of the game. The youngster will be donning the gloves for Team India in this series in the absence of MS Dhoni and it will be interesting to see how he fares.
