The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Mumbai cricketer Iqbal Abdullah posted a motivational quote uploading a picture where he was seen sitting inside a car. Kieron Pollard posted a heartfelt picture with his wife and his newborn baby. Pollard recently made his comeback into the Windies T20I team for the series versus India, which starts on August 3. Pakistan cricketer Azhar Ali posted a video where he can be seen working hard in the gymnasium. The second day of the first Test between England and Australia at the Edgbaston in Birmingham took place and the day was full of excitement. Rory Burns scored a magnificent century in the third session. Michael Vaughan reckons that the game will go right down to the wire. Meanwhile, Brett Lee doesn’t quite like the numbered jersey.

It’s a batsmen’s game these days. That delivery from Pattinson has hit the off peg fairly hard. Aussies doing well as Burns is digging a big hole.

13. Lee doesn’t like numbered Test jerseys
For what it’s worth I’m strongly against the players numbers & names appearing on the back of test cricket shirts!
I think it looks ridiculous. @ICC I love the changes you’ve made to cricket in general, but on this occasion you’ve got it wrong. #tradition #cleanskin #nonames— Brett Lee (@BrettLee_58) August 2, 2019
14. Luke Wright loved Kevin Pietersen’s documentary
Loved the @KP24 documentary, thought @nassercricket did a great job. I got to see KP in different environments first with England, then with the @StarsBBL. The way @SPFleming7 man managed KP was amazing to see & taught me a lot, I got to see him happy and enjoying his cricket.
