Cricketing Trends on Social Media today

The cricketing trends on social media revolved around a number of events. Today, Irfan Pathan, one of the best swing bowler from India announced his retirement from all forms of cricket. On such a special occasion, the former Baroda player was poured with wishes from every nook and corner across the globe. He donned national jersey in as many as 89 ODIs, 29 Tests and 24 T20Is and grabbed 301 wickets across all the formats. He also took a brilliant hattrick against Pakistan in their own backyards and was the part of Team India’s triumph in T20 World Cup 2007.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricketer hit the ground and practised hard ahead of the 1st T20I that is scheduled to be played at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, followed by the next games in Indore and Pune. Today, Melbourne Stars convincingly defeated Melbourne Renegades in the 22nd match of Big Bash League 2019-20.
