A juggernaut called MS Dhoni took over the social media on 7th July 2019. The former Indian skipper turned 38 and all the trends on the day were mostly about him. Twitter was flocked with wishes for the wicket-keeper batsman. Many current and former cricketers showered praise on MS Dhoni. Virat Kohli termed the Ranchi cricketer a big brother while Suresh Raina called him a fantastic friend and an amazing guide.
Sachin Tendulkar and Rishabh Pant were amongst the millions of others who wished MSD on his birthday. The other trends revolved around a few World Cup games and some retirements. KL Rahul relieved the moment when he registered his second ODI hundred and shared the picture. JP Duminy and Imran Tahir played their last ODI on Saturday. The former thanked everyone for the support throughout the years.
Meanwhile, Rahul Sharma congratulated them both on their fantastic ODI careers. Jonny Bairstow enjoyed his day at the Wimbledon while Jasprit Bumrah shared an iconic picture with Lasith Malinga. Bishan Singh Bedi had some words of wisdom for his followers.
