The coronavirus pandemic continues to hold India in its firm grip. And, a few cricketers have tweeted about the grim situation that India is finding itself in right now. Tom Moody stated that his heart goes out to all the people who are suffering, while Alan Wilkins asked everybody to take care of their families.
Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah has wished his wife, Sanjana Ganesan on her birthday, while Mustafizur Rahman has returned back to Bangladesh. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) spinner Rashid Khan has tweeted that it is really unfortunate that the 14th edition of the IPL had to be postponed.
Also, former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) cricketer Laxmi Ratan Shukla has decided to donate the entire fees that he received for doing commentary for the 14th edition of the IPL towards combating Covid-19. Shikhar Dhawan has urged everybody to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
Kris Srikkanth has asked everybody to wash their hands on a regular basis and stay safe. And finally, Amol Muzumdar has offered his condolences to Indian Women’s cricketer Veda Krishnamurthy after she lost her sister due to Covid-19.
