Cricketing trends on social media today

There was a lot of chatter on social media in the cricketing world today. Parthiv Patel has posted a video where he can be seen practicing in a net session. Sri Lankan cricketer Dhammika Prasad has tweeted about an incident from his playing days that brought tears to his eyes.

Subramaniam Badrinath is indulging in some backyard cricket. Today also marks the birthday of former Indian cricketer Deep Dasgupta, and a number of Indian cricketers have wished Dasgupta on his birthday. Meanwhile, Ravichandran Ashwin has stated that Ollie Robinson’s suspension gives an indication of the future in the world of social media.
