The cricketing trends on social media revolved around numerous things today. On the occasion of International Women’s day, a flurry of cricketers took to Twitter to wish everyone well on the occasion. Tweeting from his handle, former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina wrote: “A beautiful woman draws strength from troubles, smiles during distress, and grows stronger with prayers and hope. Wishing all the powerful women out there a very Happy Women’s Day. Shine on not just today but every day”
Apart from Suresh Raina, cricketers Mithali Raj, Ishant Sharma, Steve Smith, and Gautam Gambhir also joined in to convey their wishes on the occasion. Meanwhile, English cricketer Chris Tremlett, while sharing a clip from the ongoing Road Safety World Series, expressed his emotions on returning on the field. Axar Patel, on the other hand, was all praises for his Gujarat counterpart Priyank Panchal, as he also wished his team for the semi-finals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
