David Warner registered his first ODI century after his comeback into the Australian set-up. Both current and former cricketers applauded the left-hander for his effort. Former Australian head coach, Darren Lehmann seemed extremely happy with this hundred. RP Singh and Aakash Chopra also appreciated Warner’s efforts in their tweets.
In the same game, Babar Azam put up some classy stroke-making on display which truly mesmerised Herschelle Gibbs. The former South African cricketer thinks Azam can become the greatest Pakistan batsman ever. While Ramiz Raja absolutely rubbished the Pakistan fielding standards in this game, Michael Vaughan ridiculed the number of supporters Australia had in Taunton.
Meanwhile, in the head up to the game between India and New Zealand, Ross Taylor shared a picture from the press conference where he was having a good laugh. Indian skipper Virat Kohli shared a photo from the practice session. Subramaniam Badrinath seemed to be happy about the inclusion of Rishabh Pant in the Indian set-up. Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar took it to his social media platforms to wish Javed Miandad on his birthday.

8. None of us has lost as much. Well played Warner!
Ever since his comeback to competitive cricket, Warner has looked like a man on a mission. Focused. Putting a heavy price tag on his wicket. Too slow against India was a fair criticism but then…we haven’t been in his place…none of us has lost as much. Well played ???????? #CWC19

What is going on with white Kookaburra balls? Surely given the conditions in Taunton, overcast, plus a greenish pitch, there is no swing. Hasn’t really been any swing in this years #CWC19 #disappointed
