Cricketing trends in Social Media today

The cricketing trends in Twitter today saw the cricketers tweet from all over the world. As expected, it was the IPL that caught the attention of most people on the day. In the only fixture of the day, Kolkata Knight Riders played their first home game of the season. They hosted the Kings XI Punjab in the match and ended up winning by a thumping margin of 8 wickets. Skipper Gautam Gambhir was mighty pleased with the efforts and congratulated the team.

Former Australian skipper Michael Clarke also congratulated Gambhir and co. for their efforts. Gambhir responded back to him with a tweet to praise Clarke’s new look in the Indian attire. Meanwhile, Chris Gayle is waiting for the next big football encounter to take place.

Brett Lee shared some cricket bowling tips with the fans and looked pleased with doing so. Indian skipper Virat Kohli was absolutely thrilled after watching the trailer of the movie Sachin: A Billion Dreams.
