Cricketing trends in Twitter today saw tweets coming in from all parts of the world. The third and the final Test of the Natwest Series between England and Sri Lanka commenced today with Kumar Sangakkara ringing the bell to start the proceeding of the day one at the ‘Mecca of Cricket’ – Lord’s. Chris Gayle and Anil Kumble shared throwback picture from the past. Gayle recollected his time in Australia while Kumble took a trip down the memory lane when he along with his junior team mates celebrated his 500 wicket milestone. It was a great day for James Taylor who underwent a successful heart surgery. Darren Sammy expressed his condolences to his team mate Hamza Ali who passed away today.
