Cricketing trends in twitter today saw tweets coming in from all parts of the world. It was a sad start to the day as France saw a tragic incident today morning. A truck driver mowed down 84 pedestrians in the city of Nice. The truck driver was shot subsequently. Cricketers condemned the attack. Sachin Tendulkar, Brendan Taylor, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and many other expressed their unhappiness via tweets.

There was another upsetting new which emerged today. English opener Michael Carberry was diagnosed with a form of lung cancer. The illness poses a serious threat to his career. There was support for him from all corners. Teammates and other former and present cricketers showed their support to him.

Dan Christian had a fantastic day yesterday and recalled the things he did today. Mitchell McClenaghan was prepared to catch Pokemons. Irish hard-hitting all-rounder Kevin Pietersen shared a picture of his cute baby.
