CSK, RCB engage in healthy exchange of words on Twitter

One of the most renowned rivalries of the Indian Premier League arena is the South Indian derby. Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Chennai Super Kings have provided some very thrilling contests in the history of the tournament. Among the many exciting matches that the two sides of CSK and RCB have produced, the one with Albie Morkel smashing Virat Kohli in the final overs remains etched in the memories of the cricket lovers.

Recently, the social media handles of RCB and CSK engaged themselves in a healthy exchange of words. It is worth noting that Chennai Super Kings did not participate in the last two editions of the tournament since they were serving their suspension. Now, they are set to make a comeback to the IPL. The fans are all excited about their return, and by the look of things, the RCB camp seems very excited for their return too.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore initiated the conversation on the social media site Twitter. They tweeted to the official account of CSK on the occasion of the Independence Day of India. They wished them on the occasion and further noted that they have missed playing against them in the last two editions of the tournament. They hope to lock horns with them sometime soon.

CSK’s response

The social media handle of the Chennai Super Kings was quick to respond back to the healthy invite as well. They tweeted back to the RCB Twitter handle saying that they are equally excited for the contest. They hope to lock horns with them soon. With such mutual camaraderie and bonhomie feelings flowing, expect 2018 IPL to be bigger and better!
