If there is one batsman in world cricket today who can make you gape at him in awe, it is <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/babar-azam-looks-like-a-million-dollar-player-ravi-ashwin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Babar Azam</a>. The Pakistan batsman is adept off both the front foot and the backfoot and is already considered as the lynchpin of the their batting line up. Azam holds the record for being the fastest to 1000 runs in T20Is, and averages in excess of 50 in both ODI and T20Is.
When asked about the toughest bowlers that he has faced in his cricketing career, this is what he had to say.
“Every team has bowlers that bowl above 140kph and are experienced. Bowlers like Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins and Trent Boult always give you a tough time.”
While Starc has taken over 450 wickets in international cricket, Cummins and Hazlewood have provided excellent support to the left-arm seamer and are a dreaded three ponged pace attack. On the other hand, Trent Boult is the spearhead of the New Zealand bowling attack and has taken over 250 wickets in Test cricket.

He has scored close to 15000 runs in international cricket for Australia, and is a batsman feared across the cricketing world for his ability to rip apart bowling attacks. <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/our-middle-child-wants-to-be-virat-kohli-reveals-david-warners-wife-candice/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">David Warner</a> is one of the most prolific openers of modern-day cricket and is the only current Australian batsman to have scored a triple hundred in Test cricket. Warner is also the second highest century maker for Australia after Ricky Ponting in ODI cricket.
When asked as to who was the toughest bowler he has ever faced, this is what Warner tweeted. During a Q&amp;A session, he duly admitted that the South African pacers, Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel have been the toughest to face for him.

Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel were a dreaded pair and have picked up more than 700 wickets together in Test cricket alone. The two fiery pacers were the lynchpins of the South African bowling attack for close to a decade.

Williamson is the third highest run scorer for New Zealand in Tests and is also the highest century maker for his country in the longest format of the game. When asked about the toughest bowler that he has faced in his career, he had the following to say.
“Its hard to tell. There are a lot of quick bowlers around. But I do remember a number of years ago facing Dale Steyn and he broke my box. So, that was a memorable experience.”
Williamson still has a long way to go and will continue to slice through bowling attacks with a unique sense of calm.

“When I came into the side, the fastest bowler in the world used to be Brett Lee. In my debut ODI series, I went to Ireland to face South Africa, and Dale Steyn was pretty quick then as well. When I started playing, I really liked Lee and Steyn, but I had difficulties in facing them as well.”
Rohit led the Mumbai Indians to their fifth IPL triumph and has been picked in the Test squad to fly to the land of the kangaroos for a gruelling four-match Test series.

Does Smith have an Achilles heel? Does even the Test run machine feel uncomfortable while facing a particular bowler? According to the Aussie batting great, Ravindra Jadeja is the toughest bowler that he has faced. These are Smith’s thoughts about Jadeja.
“(Ravindra) Jadeja in the subcontinent. Why he is so good because, he hits that good length and one ball skids on and one spins, and it just all looks same out of the hand. I think consistency in length is key and then having at least one variation.”
With Jadeja in the squad for the Australian series in all three formats of the game, Smith would definitely have his task cut out against the left-arm spinner in the highly anticipated series between the ‘Men in Blue’ and the kangaroos.

“In recent times, Mohammad Amir of Pakistan (is the hardest to face). He is in the top two or three bowlers in the world and one of the toughest bowlers I have played in my career. You have to be on your ‘A’ Game when you’re facing him or he will strike. Outstanding. A very good bowler.”
Kohli will lead India’s charge with the bat in the challenging tour of Australia later this month. The Indian skipper would return back to India after the end of the first Test for the birth of his child.
