Hailed as one of the most turbulent and destructive fast bowlers of the current generation, Dale Steyn does not waste an opportunity to congratulate fellow cricketers on their performances. Unlike his fiery nature with the ball, the Protea speedster has a calm nature in his life off the field and is a cricketer loved by all. The significant swinger of the ball in both the directions, took to Twitter to applaud Indian pacer Ishant Sharma as the latter picked up the wicket of Matt Renshaw, catching him leg before wicket.
Ishant Sharma got involved in a thrilling battle with the young Aussie in the 28th over of the match. It all started with Renshaw moving away from the crease before Ishant could deliver the first ball due to some issues behind the sight screen. The incident somehow got Sharma to comeback stronger in the next few deliveries and he finally managed to grab his prey on the fifth ball of the over.
Dale Steyn quickly posted a picture of him with Ishant on twitter, which was probably taken during the time the duo lead the attack for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, and praised him for his effort. The tweet read “Just as @ImIshant took a wkt I saw this pic on a old phone. Nicely done bud”.

The tweet gives us an example of the humble nature of the cricketer, who is perhaps the best bowler South Africa has ever produced. Steyn had also lauded Virat Kohli as a captain earlier in the series, when he chose social media to say that he is a big fan of the Indian skipper’s aggression.
However, India now find themselves at a dominant position in the third Test at Ranchi and has a clear chance of sealing the match in their favor. The Australians have a tough task in hand to draw the Test and we are set for some exciting action on the final day at the JSCA stadium.
