In the second Test of the four-match series, England defeated South Africa by 189 runs and successfully managed to bring the series on a level by 1-1. But, one instance that hogged the spotlight was the usage of abusive words by England wicketkeeper Jos Buttler against Vernon Philander.
Soon, Buttler was brought under the scanner as he had to face the heat of many fans and cricketing greats for his act. Now, South African speedster Dale Steyn has also echoed in the same voice and has given a strong reaction for the same.
The second game of the four-match Test series between England and South Africa was full of ups and downs as the winner was decided in the final session on Day 5. In second innings, visitors’ batsman Dominic Sibley (133), Joe Root (61) and Ben Stokes (72) played some convincing knocks with the bat and helped their side in taking a mammoth lead of 437 runs.

It was no less than an impossible task for South Africa to go past that score on the final day of the match but they successfully managed to give a tough fight to their opponents. South African batsmen came with a defensive approach to draw the game as they were not ready to leave the game so easily.
England spinners were certainly getting a lot of turn from the wicket and it was quite evident. The ball was turning miles and it was difficult for the hosts to cope up with the turn. However, South Africa still managed to keep themselves calm in unfamiliar conditions. Pieter Malan managed to pull off a brilliant knock of 84 runs off 288 balls and Quinton de Kock also scored a good half-century.
The frustration was piling up on the faces of English bowlers and Jos Buttler committed an act that was not expected from an international cricketer. The instance happened in the latter stage of the game when Vernon Philander was on strike and Buttler was heard calling Vernon Philander a ‘F***ing Knobhead’.
The Proteas player was not happy over the behaviour of the gloveman and he stared him for a while with anger. Now, Dale Steyn, the veteran fast bowler from South Africa said that it was loud and clear in his latest post on Twitter. There are certain reports that Buttler will be fined after being caught using cuss words against Philander on during Day 5 of 2nd Test.
