Vijay Hazare, Polly Umrigar, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli and now Prithvi Shaw and Shubman Gill – the list just goes on. Smriti Mandhana is the latest sensation if the Women’s cricket is considered followed by the veteran Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur. These cricketers have been no less than the idols for the upcming generation. And it looks like India have unearthed yet another batting gem with the Women’s cricket improving all the time in the country.
A recent video of a four-year-old girl has taken the internet by storm and rightly so. One glimpse at her shot and everyone will realise that the batting prodigy has god-gifted talent. Her shot selection and the power with which she was hitting them is more than enough to leave everyone gasping for breath.
Many feel that the child is inspired by none other than legendary wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni. With the young girl from Odisha using her bottom hand to a great affect, the fans compared her with Dhoni. A Twitter handle with the name Female Cricket posted a clip of the girl with the caption:
“This 4 year old girl will amaze you with her batting skills. she lives in a small village in Odisha and aspires to play for Indian cricket team one day,” the tweet read.

And not only the fans but some big names from the cricketing world were impressed with the girl’s skills too. England women team’s star Danielle Wyatt was quick to respond to the tweet, writing, “Wow! No messing around with her! Fast hands.” The girl’s impressive batting had caught the attention of former Windies pacer Tino Best too.

Other cricket fans were also quick to express their amazement over the clip as they were blown away by the youngster’s impressive show. While some compared her with Dhoni and Steve Smith, some called her lady Sehwag. Here are some of the reactions:
Most of her shots were copy of MSD's and Steve Smith's shots….
